Signs of Spring!

So one plus of this whole experience is that Ryan and I have decided that we need to be more self reliant and plant a large garden this year. Last night we started that endeavor. We moved some dirt and planted peas. YUMMY!

Here are our nice rows, and if you look closely you and see one little pea that Allie placed.

Sheldon loves the idea of having a garden and watering it and watching things grow. He was such a hard worker, he planted all of the snow peas and then wanted to water them all last night.

I even got my hands dirty and planted the rest of the peas Allie was too cold to do. It really was cold out there last night.
Our nice rows of peas... in 7 to 10 days we should have some plants growing out of the dirt, and then mid to end of May we should have a ton to harvest!

Ice Cream Anyone?

So for the past couple of days the big treat at the Hoskins house has been ice cream. I'm sure it is because we have so much left over from the recent birthday parties, but I picked up some cones and we have had it for dessert the past few nights. Here are some cute pictures of the kids enjoying their yummy dessert!
(don't mind the messy desk... I'm still trying to find a place for everything.)

Isn't that the cutest messy face that you have seen?

He actually likes the cone... it is so funny.

Allie couldn't decice what flavor she wanted, so she got all three. She said it was okay, because she is three. Silly girl!

Sheldon didn't really want his picture taken, because he was playing computer,
but I got one anyway.

Happy Birthday Sheldon

Okay so this post is a little late, but I finally have a few minutes and my real computer set up, so I am going to wish Sheldon an happy birthday 4 days late.

I just can't believe that he is six already. Time sure has gone by fast. Then next thing you know he is going to be going a a mission. :)

Sheldon at his first birthday... it was a Hollywood party.

(Looking at Ethan now I really see how much he and his big brother look alike!)

His second birthday. Ryan had spent hours frosting the Blue's Clues cake. He get the basketball hoop and ball and wouldn't let it go all night.

I couldn't find pictures of Sheldon's third or forth birthday, but he did play t-ball that year. Isn't he cute.

Sheldon's 5th birthday was at the little gym, because I had Ethan two weeks before.

Now he is a six year old. He can read, and write, he loves to draw and do anything that involves electrics. He is a big help around the house, but is still a 6 year old and shows it! ;)

Sheldon also lost his first tooth right before his birthday. Holy Cow I'm old!

Happy first birthday Ethan

So I am a little late posting these, but my cute little baby turned one on Wednesday. We had a fun day that included lunch with Daddy, the McDonald's play place, spaghetti dinner and cake. Allie helped me pick out these cute cupcakes.

He was very delicate with the first couple of bites,
Then he figured out that it was yummy and worth getting messy for.

The it was all over and there was no keeping it from him... he even turned the bath water green!

Tomorrow is the extended family party, so we will take more pictures then.
